In the hallway we wander slow Flicker lights they softly glow Doors to nowhere open wide Lost between it's hard to hide Empty parking lots at dawn Echoes of a night long gone Shadows dance in fading hues Silent whispers cryptic clues In between the now and then Spaces where you've never been Hold your breath and feel the air Liminal it's everywhere Stairways twist and wind around Footsteps making not a sound Mirror halls reflect our gaze Lost in these eternal days Deserted malls with silent stores Windows showing endless floors Forgotten roads they lead us here In this place we disappear
